Amari’s Book Report

In 2020, I worked with my friend Ginelle Wynter on the illustrations for her first children’s book called “Amari’s Book Report.” This book tells the story of Amari Stephens as he discovers his family’s stories through a school assignment. The book was designed to also provide a template for children to use to interview their family members to discover their own family stories and surprises!

This was my first experience with illustration. Diving into the process of visual storytelling in this context was a challenge and a delight.
